Mid South Association of Financial Professional (MSAFP) is open to individuals employed by a business, a division or subsidiary of a company, an educational institution, governmental body or bank in the field of finance or treasury management.

 

Members represent major companies in the Memphis metropolitan area, which includes several neighboring West Tennessee counties, Northern Mississippi and Eastern Arkansas. MSAFP is one of 65 regional affiliates of the national Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland.

Meetings
MSAFP typically meets for lunch and a program the third Thursday of each month beginning at 12 noon. Meetings are normally held at Memphis area restaurants with lunch commencing at noon, a short discussion of organizational business following, and the featured educational program closing the meeting. Meetings are concluded by 1:15-1:30. Occasionally, meetings are conducted at other venues to provide for a social event.

 

Membership Dues
Current annual membership dues are $200 and include nine luncheon meetings during the calendar year. Membership dues are billed annually. For members joining during the second half of the year, fee will be prorated. Requests for cancellations or refunds of registration fees should be directed to the Treasurer and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for handling.
